Fixed
Pedal
Bike
This custom pedal bracket was made for a customer with no ability to bend his right leg. The pedal in the front of the picture was stationary, the bicycle was propelled with the left pedal only. The bracket was made to fit a bicycle the customer already owned, required no modifications to the bicycle and could be removed for conventional use.

The
Terra
Luge
This vehicle was designed and built to the specification of Hammond Engineering. It is a gravity powered recreational vehicle meant for summertime use on ski slopes. It has three wheel independant coil-over suspension and hydraulic disc brakes as would be used on a high-speed gasoline powered off-road vehicle. Safety was primary concern in the design of the vehicle. The five point safety harness and full roll cage ensure that the driver remains as safe as possible in any situation, even a roll-over at speed.
This side view of the Terra Luge shows the completeness of the full space frame and rear suspension. The rear swingarm is fully triangulated to accomadate the lateral loads seen in use. The wheels are sized for a medium-sized offroad motorcycle and are extremely durable.

Electric
Vehicles
The next four pictures show a series of prototypes done for a company in Hawaii. The goal was to produce an ultra-light efficient electric vehicle to meet the needs of developing countries.

This vehicle has low-cost three wheel elastomer suspension, stick steering, single seat, and a high cargo capacity. It is shown here before the installation of the electric propulsion system.
This vehicle has four wheel elastomer suspension, four wheel cable operated drum brakes, and two electric motors for drive. It is meant to carry two adults and cargo, and is shown here with no bodywork for detail.
This is a detail of the front end of a three wheeled single seat vehicle using coil-over suspension. It has stick steering and three wheel drum brakes. The seat is removed in this picture, giving a view of the batteries.
This vehicle has no suspension, three wheel drum brakes, and stick steering. It is again shown before the installation of the electric drive system.

Replica
Vintage
Sprint
Car
SPV was employed for the jig design and fabrication of the frame and chassis of this replica of a 1930's era Sprint race car. The custom fabricated frame was built from laser cut metal to accurately duplicate a vintage race car. It is shown here at New Hampshire International Speedway at the 1996 Vintage Races.
SPV has also used their metal fabrication facilities in many vintage auto restoration projects.
